Pricing wedding photography practically required a Doctorate these days! With everyone offering different skill levels, different levels of time they spend on the photos and with the couples, and even differences in the quality of products that are used, there is practically no way to compare. I charge for what I feel my time is worth, and all reprint rights go my clients. Well over 40 hours worth of work, and often times double that amount of time (or more! package dependant) is spent on various aspects and products for each wedding client. Photography is changing rapidly, it is the digital age...with more and more people today wanting to make their own books, or wanting to try out one of those new album companies out there that cater to making albums for brides with the files. And why not!? With the all too common current trend of just putting photos in boxes, or cramming the pages full of photos, it is no wonder that more and more couples aren't interested in an album! All I can say is be prepared for something different with our albums! With a background in graphic design, I felt an album should be so much more than just the photos with a little border around them!
